The Sint-Gerolf church is the church of the Drongense parish of Drongen-Centrum, in the East Flemish city of Ghent. This neo-Greek church was designed by Ghent's architect F. Cardon. The church is in the place of a former church of the old abbey of Drongen, whose only tower has been preserved. The church is dedicated to the martyr Gerulfus. This 49 m high tower rests on a square base, with six octagonal floors, crowned with a pepper-bushed coating. The tower thanks to this is nicknamed the pepper mill. The tower got its current form between 1732 and 1734, after its predecessor lost its lightning in 1727. The corresponding church building dates from 1859 and has never been used as abbey church.
