Anderlecht is one of the nineteen municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region. 

Located in the southwest of the city, it is bordered by the City of Brussels, Dilbeek, Forest, Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Saint-Gilles and Sint-Pieters-Leeuw.
